MAINTENANCE & REPAIR

ENGINE

We stand for preventive & corrective action to maintain your engine.

Maintaining with the efficient & proper ways can help prolonged life & favorable outcome.

 Scope of Engine:

MAIN ENGINE

AUXILIARY ENGINE

EMERGENCY or HARBOUR ENGINE

OTHERS ENGINE

GEARBOX

It is a critical unit, when a gearbox is matched with the right engine and propeller & also in a good condition it ensures maximum reliability over an extended period of time.

There are various types of ship gearboxes, namely: for single and multi-engines, for reversing gear units & gearboxes with Power Take Off (PTO) and Power Take In (PTI).

GENERATOR SET

A genset is a combination of a prime mover, (typically an engine), and an alternator.  An engine converts the chemical energy of a fuel to mechanical energy.

That mechanical energy is used to spin the alternator rotor; converting mechanical energy to electrical energy.  An alternator is made of two main parts; a rotor and stator.  Spinning the alternator rotor through the magnetic field between the rotor and stator creates a voltage on the alternator stator, through the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction.

When the voltage on the stator is connected to a load, electrical current flows, and the generator produces power to use to serve electricity needs on board.

Section of commons genset:

  1. Engine
  2. Alternator
  3. Panel

PUMPS

When a fluid has to be moved in a system, pumps are used. The pumps is a machine which has the function of increasing of total energy of a liquid; this means that the pumps transfer energy to the fluid that it receives from driving motor.

Main components of pumps:

  1. Stationary Component (Casing, Casing Cover & Bearings)
  2. Rotary Component (Driving motor, Impeller & Shaft)

REFRIGERATION COMPRESSOR

A refrigerator compressor is the centre of the refrigeration cycle. It works as a pump to control the circulation of the refrigerant, and it adds pressure to the refrigerant, heating it up. The compressor also draws vapor away from the evaporator to maintain a lower pressure and lower temperature before sending it to the condenser.

Types of Compressor:

  1. Reciprocating Compressor
  2. Rotary Screw Compressor
  3. Scroll Compressor

    GENERAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

An electric power system is a network of electrical components deployed to supply, transfer, and use electric power. An example of a power system is the electrical grid that provides power to homes and industry within an extended area. The electrical grid can be broadly divided into the generators that supply the power, the transmission system that carries the power from the generating centers to the load centers, and the distribution system that feeds the power to nearby homes and industries. Smaller power systems are also found in industry, hospitals, commercial buildings and homes. The majority of these systems rely upon three-phase AC power—the standard for large-scale power transmission and distribution across the modern world. Specialized power systems that do not always rely upon three-phase AC power are found in aircraft, electric rail systems, ocean liners, submarines and automobiles.

We provide service for AC & DC electrical systems:

    1. Commissioning
    2. Maintenance
    3. Troubleshooting
